Catherine Bearder meets South East Lib Dem MEP Sharon Bowles in a break from filming

On a Liberal Democrat European Group (LDEG) sponsored trip last week to Brussels, Liberal Democrat MEP for the South East Sharon Bowles met the 18 member group and gave them a presentation about her work as a new MEP. She also met up with local Oxfordshire activist and European campaigner Catherine Bearder at the European Parliament building. They spoke during a break in filming on the TV set up on the concourse of the Parliament Building. Catherine is the next candidate in line on the Liberal Democrat European list for the South East region. She said, "It was fascinating learning about the work of an MEP and thanks to Sharon for giving us so much of her time."
